Methods of Abortion:

First Trimester:

The first trimester is the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. How far into your pregnancy you are is determined using the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).

1. The Abortion Pill also known as R.U.486 or Mifeprex & Misoprostol (Can be used up to 7 weeks from LMP)

*Note* This is NOT Emergency Contraception/Plan B/Morning After Pill.

The second trimester is the 13 to 28 weeks of your pregnancy.

1. Dilation and Curettage Abortion (D&C) (Can be done up to 14 weeks after LMP)

2. Dilation and Evacuation Abortion (D&E) (Can be done from 14 weeks after LMP to Birth)
